Mamo #4: Four Things

It's one of the most surprising successes of the summer, the biggest critical turkey-shoot of 2005 so far, and the film that has nonetheless been (rightly or wrongly) credited with breaking the "Hollywood slump:" Fantastic Four.

This week we have a look at the troubled film and its unusual audience response; discuss the closing of the Marvel store of top-line comic titles; and ponder the imponderables about this whole slump business, anyway... while attempting to determine just how many times you can say "four" in a half-hour radio segment. It's a rolling four-by-four of foursome fantasia in Podcast #4's fourmidable Fantastic Four extravaganza (four).

For curious parties (should such parties exist), my review of Fantastic Four can be found here.
