Mamo #55: Fest without rest

The first of four podcasts coning at you from the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival. Both Matt's are seeing 50 films, but we still have time left over to get together, have the coffee, and cast the pod. Enjoy, at least 3 more to come before it's all over.

Short but sweet.
Being Australian and having seen 10 Canoes twice in theatres already (and eager for a return) it was very comforting to hear Matts review of it, the fact that it was enjoyed without subtitles is a testament to de Heers ability as a filmmaker. This film is just what we need here right now, its never too late to see a positive, honest and above all enjoyable tale from the indigenous people of our country. If only more Australians would see it.

But seriously, how the hell did you not know who Borat is!?

Cheers guys.

Another one astonished by the fact that you never heard of Borat before. I guess Ali G is not as popular over the pond as he is in the old continent. ;)
