Mamo #71: The Jig Is Up

Mamo returns with startling revelations about film ratings, studio ledgers, and Eddie Murphy. Oh, and our own ill-advised tomfoolery! We shall never kid again.

You guys got me as well. However, it seemed a bit off with how quickly Matthew Brown went from laughing just a couple of moments earlier in the podcast to angry and upset. In the end it was Matthew Price's performance that sold it, making me think it was real, with his confusion at the other Matt "leaving" and not knowing how to end the show.

Glad to see it wasn't real and that the MAMO goes on.

Also you guys were talking about conflict within the podcast and I certainly agree that it's not necessary. It's about bouncing ideas off of each other and getting feedback on the various subjects.

Hey guys! :)

The joke was fine. No hard feelings and no apology necessary. :) And I have to admit it felt a bit strange (buildup was too short), but the reaction of "Father Matt" convinced me it was true. :P

Interestingly enough I completely agree with "Geeky Matt" about Oscars this year. I just don't care any more. I'm still compelled to see The Queen, but mostly because of curiosity. There's just so many stuff and movies I'm interested in that there's no point of seeing it just because it was nominated for sth.

P.S. When "Father Matt's" mic went off for a while it really felt like listening one end of phone conversation. :D
