We're gettin ready to do it again! That's right, Matt & Matt cover the toronto international film fest for the third year running! Check out our hopes and dreams this time around. We'll be back all through the week to let you know how it goes down.

Ellen Page AND Michael Cera: two of the best young Canadians in the business in one movie. Juno is going to rock the house.

(I also saw Everything is Illuminated. Which means I know over 35% of the people that watched the movie.)

I might be going to my first TIFF screening, if I can manage to get tickets to "Control", the movie about Joy Division's lead singer Ian Curtis. A number of times I've had interest in seeing a particular film at TIFF, but for whatever reason (couldn't get tickets, when the movie was playing, etc) it just never happened.

I might rush Control on Friday night. Hope to see you there.

Well, I wasn't able to get tickets for Control. I was in front of the computer at 7 am Wednesday morning when tickets went on sale online, only to discover that TIFF only accepts VISA and I only have MasterCard. My wife has a VISA card, but she hadn't been using and let it expire recently years ago.

I might wait in line for rush tickets as well. I have a friend that I used to work with, that really wants to Control, and I figure worst comes to worst and we don't get tickets we still get a chance to talk and catch up on things.

How long before the show do you recommend showing up for rush lines? 1 hour? 2 hours?

Mr. Brown if you end up there, I'm the guy with the beard, wearing a light-grey Joy Division t-shirt and black jeans. My friend Simon, who I will be hanging out with, stands out a bit in that he is in his early 30's but already has a lot of grey hair.
