Mamo #120: Blood in the water

Everybody's got a move to make this week - Warner Bros. shuffled Harry Potter to take advantage of next summer's tentpole gap, and signaled their intent to change the way they develop comic book movies in light of Dark Knight's continuing success. Meanwhile, United Artists fell apart, Tropic did Pineapple business, and Kevin Smith is ridin' the wave. It's all in this week's Mamo.

"The part of Matthew Brown to be played by Hayden Panettiere."

"I'd get behind that."

MB, I'm sure a lot of the young people of America would want to get "behind that." Ahem.

Oh sorry, this is a G-rated podcast, right?

MP, who are you going to be blogging your capsule reviews for? I haven't talked to Tim yet, but it might be neat to have your stuff up on blogTO as well. I'd talk to Tim if you're interested...

Heh, I just listened to the show last night and had the exact same "feedback" re: my positioning on Hayden pannetierre.

Uh... yeah.

The good news is, looks like Matthew Price and I will be doing at least one moviesTO for blogTO before the festival starts, along with my usual Midnight Madness (written) coverage. So it'll be a glorious return to the sandy shores of blogTO for me. :)

MamoviesTO? That's just awesome. Highlight of the festival already for me.

You should definitely try and convince Matt Price to share some of his written wisdom on blogTO. I'm going light on my coverage this year, so I'm sure it would be appreciated.
