Mamo #151: Zemamo no go

We wrap up on the Toronto Film fest, discuss the business end of a screening at the Elgin, and provide the highest quality in depth analysis ever given from a bench in the mall. Plus we parse the cock-up at Disney, and tease our upcoming interview with Zeb Pike, lighting compositor and part of the creative team at Starz that produced Shane Acker’s 9.

I was listening to the Mamo on my computer and the ending sound effect surprised the hell out of me, since I didn't think it was coming from the podcast. :)

Glad to hear you are interviewing someone from "9". It was a great movie and I was surprised when watching the credits that the animation was done in Toronto. With a big Hollywood movie being made in Toronto, you figure the local media would have some more behind the scenes articles.

Also I'm surprised that you guys got into talking about Disney without mentioning that they bought Marvel. I'm curious to hear what you two have to say about it as well about how Warner Brothers finally realize they own DC Comics and form DC Entertainment.

You're absolutely right, massive oversight on our part. I think I was brought so low by the Pirates news that it drove the Marvel deal completely out of my mind. We should address it in the next show.
